Dorothy Ogwuru — BSc Pharmacology, 18+ years across clinical data management, pharmacovigilance (former Global Head of PV), and regulatory medical writing. Active consultant to global pharmaceutical companies. Founder of PharmaLink Academy.

Every Career Report is reviewed and personalised by Dorothy directly — the same person who has guided hundreds of healthcare and life-sciences professionals into roles at Roche, Daiichi-Sankyo, Takeda, PTx, and Cancer Research UK. The report you receive reflects 18 years of judgement about which pivots work, which roles fit which backgrounds, and what the realistic timeline actually looks like.

Who this is for

Most buyers fall into one of these seven backgrounds. The Career Report is tuned to the specific path your background opens.

Life-sciences graduates
BSc, MSc, PhD. You need clarity on whether your degree is enough, which industry roles fit, and what salaries look like in 2026.
Nurses
RGN, Adult, Mental Health, Paeds. Looking for remote, flexible pharma roles. Often unaware these roles exist or that your clinical reasoning translates directly.
Physicians
MBBS, MD. Considering medical affairs, safety physician roles, or medical writing. You need a credible roadmap, not platitudes.
Pharmacists
Community or hospital. Wanting industry over front-line. Often the most buyer-ready segment — the report sharpens the route.
Academics & researchers
Postdocs and lab scientists wanting out of the academic cycle. The report validates the move and maps the route.
Existing pharma professionals
Looking to advance tier (PV Associate → PV Scientist; Junior → Senior MW). The report identifies the exact gaps blocking promotion.

Also serving Gulf-region healthcare professionals seeking UK-aligned, internationally portable pharma credentials.

What your report covers

04

A realistic month-by-month sequence to first paid pharma role, accounting for your starting point.
05
Entry strategy
The specific employers, role titles, and application sequencing most likely to land you a first interview.

What previous Career Reports have unlocked

Anonymised mini-stories. No before-and-after photos, no transformation arcs — just what the report mapped and where the buyer went next.

“The report told me my MSc and three years of NHS experience were enough — I'd been told otherwise for two years. Now in a PV Associate role at a global CRO.”
Nurse, 9 years NHS → Pharmacovigilance Associate
“What I needed was the timeline and the entry strategy — not encouragement. The report gave me both. First regulatory writing role offered six months later.”
PhD biochemist, postdoc → Associate Regulatory Medical Writer
“Dorothy's report named exactly the two skills gaps I'd been avoiding and the three employers most likely to interview me. Both gaps closed, one of those employers hired me.”
Hospital pharmacist, 7 years → Senior Medical Writer

Frequently asked questions

Is this worth it if I'm not sure I want to pivot?
It's especially worth it then. The report is built to give you an honest assessment of whether the pivot fits your background, what it would actually take, and what the salary reality looks like. Several buyers each year decide after reading their report that the pivot isn't right for them — and that's a successful outcome too. Better to know now than after a ร‚ยฃ3,000 programme.
What if my background is unusual — not the standard nurse-or-pharmacist route?
Most buyers have unusual backgrounds. Dorothy has reviewed reports for veterinary surgeons, dentists, physiotherapists, paramedics, biomedical scientists, and clinical psychologists pivoting into pharma. The report adapts to your actual background and finds the roles your specific credentials open.
How is this different from a free careers session or LinkedIn coffee chat?
Two things. First, it's grounded in 18 years of industry experience — not what someone read on a careers blog. Second, it's a written, personalised document you keep and return to: realistic salary bands, named employers, sequenced timeline. A 30-minute coffee chat doesn't survive contact with the next decision you have to make.
Can the report cover Gulf-region opportunities?
Yes. Dorothy has guided multiple Gulf-region healthcare professionals into UK and Gulf-based pharma roles. UK-aligned regulatory training is the asset; the report maps where it's most portable.
What happens if I want to enrol in a PharmaLink programme afterwards?
The Career Report fee can be discussed as a credit at programme enrolment — ask Dorothy directly during the 30-day follow-up. Many buyers go on to enrol in the RMW Programme (£2,999) or the Pharmacovigilance Programme after completing their report.
How is the report delivered?
As a polished PDF document emailed directly from Dorothy. Average length 8–14 pages depending on background complexity. Reply to the delivery email at any point in the 30-day follow-up window with questions.
What is the refund policy?
If you submit your intake form and decide before Dorothy begins her review that the report isn't for you, you'll receive a full refund. After Dorothy starts the review, the report is delivered as commissioned. We've never had a buyer ask for a refund after delivery.
Why £497?
Because that's what 18 years of industry judgement, personally reviewed and personalised, costs to deliver. The report represents 4–6 hours of Dorothy's senior-consultant time at the rates she would charge a global pharma client. Capacity is genuinely limited each month.
