Is PharmaLink Academy Legit? Who We Are, Who Runs It and How to Check
If you are weighing a four-figure investment in a career change, checking who is behind it is the sensible first step. This page sets out who PharmaLink Academy is, who runs it, what is independently verifiable, and where to take a concern. Ngwa, let us begin.
What PharmaLink Academy is
PharmaLink Academy is a UK-based training academy for healthcare professionals and life-science graduates moving into the pharmaceutical industry. We teach regulatory medical writing and pharmacovigilance through six-month, live, practitioner-led programmes, with a Career Workshop for graduates afterwards.
Who runs it
PharmaLink Academy was founded in April 2025 by Dorothy Ogwuru, who has more than 18 years in the pharmaceutical industry across clinical data management, pharmacovigilance (including as Global Head of Pharmacovigilance) and regulatory medical writing. Dorothy designed the programmes, recruited the industry experts who deliver them, and stays personally involved in student progression. You can read her background on her author page and the story behind the academy in Why I Built PharmaLink Academy.
PharmaLink Academy is the trading name of DL Global Services Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 09139246), with its registered office at 4th Floor, Silverstream House, 45 Fitzroy Street, London W1T 6EB, and whose director is Dorothy Ogwuru. You can check the record yourself on Companies House. PharmaLink is a registered trade mark with the UK Intellectual Property Office.
Not connected to any other PharmaLink
PharmaLink Academy is a UK-based training academy. It is not affiliated with any pharmacy, distribution, returns or pharmaceutical business that shares the PharmaLink name, in the UK, the Middle East, the United States or elsewhere. If a message, invoice or job advert comes from a different PharmaLink, it is not from us. Our only domain is pharmalinkacademy.co.uk and our subdomains, and our contact address is [email protected].
What you can check for yourself
- Accreditation. The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine has approved both our Regulatory Medical Writing and Pharmacovigilance programmes, and so has the Royal Society of Biology. Both programmes are also CPD Certified by The CPD Certification Service, and you can verify those listings independently: Regulatory Medical Writing and Pharmacovigilance.
- Independent reviews. Students review us on REVIEWS.io, where reviewers are asked to verify their email address. Read them, the critical ones included, on our REVIEWS.io page, and see our reviews page.
- The people teaching. Every live session is taught by an industry practitioner who is still working in pharmacovigilance or regulatory medical writing. Our faculty is 13 industry experts within a team of 15.
- The standard of marking. Projects are marked by experts who are still working in the industry, against a published standard, and recorded as Met Standard or Not Met Standard, with Distinction and Merit awarded where applicable.
- Our policies, in writing. Our terms, the refunds and payment plan policy and our complaints and appeals procedure are published in full on the website.
